March seemed to be a busy month for me. I feel like it was super long but that could just be me. Some of the highlights of this last month for me where my trip to Florida, getting to take my boot off and start running again, quitting me job (oops), going to the aquarium, and lots of nights out with friends! I hope everyone else got to enjoy their March as well.
These are some of the great things I got to enjoy while I was in Florida. I flew into Fort Meyers to visit my grandparents and we took the Key West Express to Key West for the day to visit my aunt. It was so nice getting to enjoy the warm weather for a few days after a cold, cold winter in New England.In between my Florida trip and everything else in my March, I got to enjoy the last dusting of snow in Boston, a beautiful sunset (viewed from Comm Ave in Boston) and I also bought a car!I visited my parents and went to lunch at Duffy’s in Kennebunk. They have some of my favorite French Onion soup. I also made these super yummy quinoa bowls. I have been dying to make them again, I think this week or next I will. I will probably post my recipe on here as well for anyone who is curious.My last day of work! I left my job as it just wasn’t for me any more. I worked at a hospital and it was too emotional for me to keep going. It was a tough decision to leave as I had been there for almost 3 years and really loved all my coworkers, but it was the right decision for me. My coworkers and I enjoyed Kane’s donuts to celebrate, our favorite! Then after, my friends and I went to Cityside in Brighton for drinks and apps. It was a great day 🙂My roommates and I had a wholesome weekend and went to our favorite plant shop and then to try a new brewery that opened up next door called the Speedway. We loved the atmosphere there and will definitely be going back! Also, my beautiful mini orchid started having her second bloom this month which I am super proud of!I went to the aquarium with my family and we had a great time! It was my first time going here in a few years so it was really nice to go back.
That is all for now from my month of March. April will probably be just as busy for me, as I try to find a new job and get ready to move out of my apartment in May (I have a lot of stuff to move). April is also a great time to enjoy the sights in and around Boston as the weather gets warmer, so hopefully I get to spend more time outside this coming month.
